Preparation for Breastfeeding Class

Many new mothers are unsure about how to breastfeed, while others find themselves frustrated by difficulties they didn't anticipate. Stamford Hosptial's lactation consultants, all IBCLC certified, teach breastfeeding classes and are available to schedule individual consultations, by phone, or in their offices, even after you've taken your baby home. Electronic breast pumps are also available.

Breastfeeding Group Classes

This class is offered to in-patients only.  It provides new moms with helpful tips and techniques for breastfeeding after giving birth and is taught by an International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLC) instructor.
